In the 4th minute of the match Temida Sf got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Traycho Stamboldzhiev ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 5th match minute, Temida Sf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ognyan Baronov to maneuver through the defense. Balazs Lajos made in the 12th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bakos Endre however managed to control. The supporters of Temida Sf booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bakos Endre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dimitar Famparski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Mario Kisev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dimitar Famparski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ikonom Brúmbarov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Hungary's Takacs Tibor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ikonom Brúmbarov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Major Barna put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ikonom Brúmbarov. Ikonom Brúmbarov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Gu Di Chong kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitar Famparski's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Hungary booed when Temida Sf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venelin Levenski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Istatkov in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Dinko Ormandzhiev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 67 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Vörös Henrik. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Vörös Henrik got a free kick in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Radomir Istatkov came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Temida Sf's goalkeeper Ikonom Brúmbarov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balazs Lajos. In the 77th minute Radomir Istatkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Temida Sf's Ikonom Brúmbarov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Temida Sf from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Ikonom Brúmbarov in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Istatkov in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Bakos Endre hit a great ball. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinko Ormandzhiev in the 92nd minute of play. After 95 played minutes Temida Sf got a freekick which was hit by Dinko Ormandzhiev. Hungary played a much better game than Temida Sf and deserved their victory. The Temida Sf players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
