Beppe Savoia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Boer's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Kurt Boer charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kurt Boer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kurt Boer kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Carloforte f.c.'s Dennis Monzeglio got a free kick in the 21st minute. Beppe Savoia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ted Roelofsen in the 21st minute. Ted Roelofsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Savoia having to interfere. Beppe Savoia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Boer's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Kurt Boer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Savoia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Beetje Moe Re-United's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Iacovella came free, but Bill Geerds reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ted Roelofsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Savoia having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Ted Roelofsen could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Beppe Savoia however easily saved by the left post. Bill Geerds made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvise Bevilacqua in the 36th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Ted Roelofsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beetje Moe Re-United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carloforte f.c. the free kick. Beppe Savoia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ted Roelofsen in the 44th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alessandro Iacovella made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt Boer in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beppe Savoia saved Carloforte f.c. from getting behind. Alessandro Iacovella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Bill Geerds made a huge save. Alvise Bevilacqua hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Alessandro Iacovella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Bill Geerds tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bill Geerds made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvise Bevilacqua in the 69th minute. Beppe Savoia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Roelofsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brain Enzing lost his temper 81 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Brain Enzing kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Alvise Bevilacqua hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 86 played minutes, Beetje Moe Re-United's Benjamin Zoontjens shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Beppe Savoia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Beetje Moe Re-United reached it. Beppe Savoia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Roelofsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Dirk Roswinkel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beppe Savoia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Wiarda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 0-0. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

Timo Wiarda might have been able to make a better finish in the 99th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beppe Savoia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timo Wiarda ran back to his position shaking his head. Bill Geerds came out of the goal in the 107th minute to try and stop a shot by Carloforte f.c.'s Alessandro Iacovella. But to his dismay, Alessandro Iacovella quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The Beetje Moe Re-United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Carloforte f.c.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Carloforte f.c..
