Young Benefica's Arjen Holsmuller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gust Rammer in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Peanut Lord recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arjen Holsmuller. Peanut Lord showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 14th minute Styrbjörn Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arjen Holsmuller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arjen Holsmuller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peanut Lord in the 21st minute of the match. Arjen Holsmuller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peanut Lord, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peanut Lord in the 22nd minute of play forced Young Benefica's goalkeeper Arjen Holsmuller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Peanut Lord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arjen Holsmuller made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Peanut Lord sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Young Benefica defense, Peanut Lord kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arjen Holsmuller. The Young Benefica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arjen Holsmuller should have stopped the shot. Zorion Carić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Montana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arjen Holsmuller made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peanut Lord in the 34th minute. Yuri Paauwe spun around in front of the goal 36 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Slipmaskinerna's goal. Zorion Carić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Ødegaard in the 41st minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yuri Paauwe was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th match minute, Young Benefica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Ødegaard to maneuver through the defense. Peanut Lord struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Arjen Holsmuller didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slipmaskinerna. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Tony Montana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Young Benefica's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Montana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Slipmaskinerna made a substitution. Don Frye replaced Jordi Alba. The supporters of Slipmaskinerna booed when Young Benefica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Caluwé didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Slipmaskinerna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After having played for 89 minutes, Mastur Bates managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slipmaskinerna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mastur Bates was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arjen Holsmuller didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mastur Bates went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Slipmaskinerna's Mastur Bates got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
