Mai Quan Peng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Txatxu having to make a save. Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Q. T. I. from getting a goal against them.
After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Severo Veronica made the kick off and play began. Paulo Txatxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mai Quan Peng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 103 minutes into the match, Mai Quan Peng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Txatxu. Q. T. I.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mai Quan Peng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The Seed Town West supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Seed Town West would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
