Jean-Paul Daalmeyer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Viseu United's goalkeeper Adrian Txindoki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amado Salazar in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Paul Daalmeyer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adrian Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denny Haan in the 44th minute of play.

The wind increased when Amado Salazar made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Teobald Jekot came free, but Jean-Paul Daalmeyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gerwin Dongen fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viseu United's protests and gave Gerwin Dongen a yellow card for diving instead. Adrian Txindoki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denny Haan, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute.
