The crowd rose to their feet as Christer Pettersson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricky Van Dock. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Shota Balla hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Ricky Van Dock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Pettersson in the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's zone, Jonas Decorte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Olsson came out of the goal and Jonas Decorte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ola-Conny Andersson hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Viktor Goffyn struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Christian Olsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bacardi FC. The supporters of Bacardi FC booed when Elmtaryd Agunnaryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Erik Malm didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Maurice Vissenakens sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Olsson skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Elmtaryd Agunnaryd getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Birger Vikström hit a great ball. With a little luck, Bacardi FC's Ricky Van Dock got control of the ball when Christer Pettersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 44 played minutes Bacardi FC got a freekick which was hit by Kim Coveliers. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Decorte to make the kick off. Ricky Van Dock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Markowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Gilberto Gorka scored 1-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Olsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th match minute, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Vikström to maneuver through the defense. Ola-Conny Andersson kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Christian Olsson was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Maurice Vissenakens capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maurice Vissenakens really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Ricky Van Dock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christer Pettersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Olsson made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Viktor Goffyn sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Shota Balla got a free kick in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurice Vissenakens in the 90th minute of play forced Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's goalkeeper Christian Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Maurice Vissenakens dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christian Olsson, 1-3.

The Elmtaryd Agunnaryd supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bacardi FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Bacardi FC.
