Ambrosio Quilino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarık Sehhar in the 4th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Arnaldo Darien mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marlin FC and the LOI players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Marlin FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Arnaldo Darien hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Rickard Thidén ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ambrosio Quilino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ambrosio Quilino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tarık Sehhar's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Thidén in the 20th minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Quilino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, LOI's Rickard Thidén sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ambrosio Quilino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Thidén came free, but Ambrosio Quilino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rickard Thidén blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ambrosio Quilino having to make a save. The LOI fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when LOI's Rickard Thidén looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Marlin FC! In the 37th minute there was a penalty for LOI. Tarık Sehhar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ambrosio Quilino. 0-3. LOI's Johannes Sobeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Quico in the 40th minute of play. Marlin FC's Delmar Pirro got his second yellow card of the match in the 40th minute. The referee ordered Delmar Pirro off the ground. Atahan Doğanlar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ambrosio Quilino. Marlin FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 43 played minutes LOI got a freekick which was hit by Berker Özgunay. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ignacio Derwin to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, LOI's Rickard Thidén ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ambrosio Quilino. Ambrosio Quilino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After having played for 55 minutes, Rickard Thidén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rickard Thidén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 57 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Derwin. Ambrosio Quilino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atahan Doğanlar in the 59th minute. A collision led to LOI getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Tarık Sehhar hit a great ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Ignacio Derwin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOI's Johannes Sobeck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of LOI booed when Marlin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Pacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marlin FC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Quilino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atahan Doğanlar made a great header on LOI's corner, it was just that Marlin FC's Ambrosio Quilino managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, LOI's Ali Kaan Saban got a free kick in the 72nd minute.
