Brian Carter hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The supporters of Denmark booed when Lisburn Distillery F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Moyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Flack kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Abraham Moyle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. A sloppy throw-in by Jake Whiteside in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Olav Graversen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 25th minute of play forced Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s goalkeeper Garth Hayes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garth Hayes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertram Svenningsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Brian Carter tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 31 played minutes Lisburn Distillery F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jake Whiteside. In the 32nd minute of the match Chris Nygaard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Garth Hayes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bertram Svenningsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glenn Abbey in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Denmark's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Brian Carter was slow to take the kick. During this time Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Brian Carter almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen did a great save. 47 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toby Dransfield. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toby Dransfield to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Glenn Abbey got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute of the game Jake Whiteside made a throw-in which Aaron Flack played forward. Lars Steen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Chris Nygaard hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Denmark's Chris Nygaard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nygaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garth Hayes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garth Hayes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 89 minutes of play Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Aaron Flack was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Lisburn Distillery F.C. getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Aaron Flack hit a great ball. Chris Nygaard struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Garth Hayes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark.
