A sloppy throw-in by Lars Meesters in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by LosAndes666's Justo Elequemedo. LosAndes666's Cecilio Gonza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 31st minute of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egbert Nijveldt during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, Egbert Nijveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 37 minutes, Enzo-Nicolás Pérez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LosAndes666's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo-Nicolás Pérez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, LosAndes666's Justo Elequemedo got a free kick in the 45th minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Lars Meesters put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cecilio Gonza. 58 minutes into the game, LosAndes666's Aldo Bizen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. LosAndes666's Cristóvão Santana was substituted for Mao Ao Gang. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Lamela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Erik Lamela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Netherlands booed when LosAndes666 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Cordareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cecilio Gonza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cecilio Gonza could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers He Zhen Guang in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Meesters in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cecilio Gonza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Cecilio Gonza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
