Greid Tinsmith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Toledo in the 3rd minute of play. The attack was good, but when Omar Toledo in the 3rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Inge Braa might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Ascaso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inge Braa ran back to his position shaking his head. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inge Braa, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Inge Braa might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Ascaso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inge Braa ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Spain's Gabriel Ascaso got control of the ball when Inge Braa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goal looked a bit too open when Adria Bielsa came free, but Greid Tinsmith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spain were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Doffes Damer's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Omar Toledo took the corner. 18 minutes into the game, Jonathan Criado threw the ball into play from the sideline. Doffes Damer's Göran Vedholm quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 20 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goal looked a bit too open when Adria Bielsa came free, but Greid Tinsmith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Greid Tinsmith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adria Bielsa in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's Inge Braa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Ascaso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Spain's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pier Kopacz was slow to take the kick. During this time Doffes Damer's players had a chance to rest. In the 28th match minute, Spain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Criado to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 31st minute of play forced Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Greid Tinsmith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doffes Damer's Greid Tinsmith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adria Bielsa in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Doffes Damer's Feliks Gniech got a free kick in the 40th minute. Feliks Gniech kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Feliks Gniech fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Doffes Damer's protests and gave Feliks Gniech a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Doffes Damer getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Feliks Gniech hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inge Braa was the one to do the kick off. Greid Tinsmith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Toledo in the 56th minute of the match. Greid Tinsmith made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Toledo in the 58th minute. A collision led to Doffes Damer getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Feliks Gniech hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Inge Braa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
