In the 14th minute, Major Barna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 17thth minute of the game Antal Valentin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ's Stratos Vogiatzis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Markos Kopsidas was slow to take the kick. During this time Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ's players had a chance to rest. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stratos Vogiatzis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 54th minute, 刘战翔 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Stratos Vogiatzis managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Hungary's Antal Valentin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 89th minute of play forced Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ's goalkeeper Stratos Vogiatzis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Balazs Lajos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
