Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ren Fan Yu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ren Fan Yu, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 8th minute of play forced Topsail's goalkeeper Bill Carmichael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bill Carmichael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the game Samet Yanık made a throw-in which Brent Goldsmith played forward. After some careless play in the Topsail defense, Siricio Liotta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bill Carmichael. The Topsail fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bill Carmichael should have stopped the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Porziano Marchitelli notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Topsail's Bill Carmichael. Bill Carmichael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Porziano Marchitelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Sigfrido Auletta made a precise shot to the right of Bill Carmichael. Topsail's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Antal Fodor tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Topsail's Antal Fodor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Flavio Vittori. That made the score 1-3 after 33 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 37th minute of play forced Topsail's goalkeeper Bill Carmichael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Topsail's goal looked a bit too open when Porziano Marchitelli came free, but Bill Carmichael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Italy were awarded a corner. Sigfrido Auletta went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Topsail's goalie and right to Zaccheo Andolina. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Topsail's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Sostene Vitulli hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Bill Carmichael made a huge save. With a little luck, Topsail's Bill Carmichael got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Sabin Bălcescu in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Siricio Liotta. After 61 minutes Topsail's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. Siricio Liotta was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 68 minutes into the match, Topsail's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Bill Carmichael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bill Carmichael made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Topsail's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Eliseo Cutri managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Samet Yanık got a throw-in 83 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jano Maciel. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Topsail's goalkeeper Bill Carmichael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Italy's Adriano Curto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bill Carmichael. Bill Carmichael yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jano Maciel in the 88th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Topsail were awarded a corner. Juan Driscoll went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Juan Driscoll almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Italy's Flavio Vittori did a great save. Thanks to some nice moves Porziano Marchitelli could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Bill Carmichael however easily saved by the left post. In the 94th minute of the match Italy got a corner. Topsail's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Siricio Liotta ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Sansone Vanella heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of Italy booed when Topsail was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sancar Talaş didn't get a good kick on the ball.
