Argyris Lagonidis took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arthur Barns. Arthur Barns dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Gustau in the 26th minute of play forced Glasgow Rangers FC's goalkeeper Arthur Barns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Eflani defense, Gregor Menzies kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Turgut Cangur. The Eflani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Turgut Cangur should have stopped the shot. Arthur Barns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argyris Lagonidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Abdulbaki Tuğtekin notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Glasgow Rangers FC's Arthur Barns. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Barry Gilbert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Eflani booed when Glasgow Rangers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicholas Aspin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Glasgow Rangers FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Eflani were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
