Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Bas Tuitert got a free kick in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Elia Strano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Elia Strano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ercole Carnevale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 9th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ercole Carnevale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd minute, Teodoro Chale made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Nero in the 29th minute of play. Ercole Carnevale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 minutes Santoryu FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Ercole Carnevale despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 34th minute of the match, Teodoro Chale got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arnout Reekers was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ercole Carnevale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 37th minute of play forced Santoryu FC's goalkeeper Ercole Carnevale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Chale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Elia Strano was slow to take the kick. During this time Santoryu FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Elia Strano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnout Reekers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Flavio Facchini kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Nero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodoro Chale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ercole Carnevale firmly grabbed it by the left post. 53 minutes into the match, Santoryu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Ercole Carnevale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ercole Carnevale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Gijsbert ter Kruimer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ercole Carnevale was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Santoryu FC made a substitution. Andrea Muciaccia replaced Elia Strano. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Egbert Nijveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santoryu FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Wim Wilmes scored to the left of an out of position Ercole Carnevale, making the score, 1-3. In the 83rd minute, Flavio Facchini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Yıldırım Buminhan came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 minutes of play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ercole Carnevale was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Netherlands eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
