Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Remzi Oruz kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kim-André van der Schans came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Aldo Tono tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute of the match Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Honorio Geleberto ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 11th minute, Kees Mooiweer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorio Geleberto hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kim-André van der Schans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kim-André van der Schans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Geleberto in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Wim Wilmes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's Kim-André van der Schans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's Remzi Oruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Honorio Geleberto was slow to take the kick. During this time Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's players had a chance to rest. Remzi Oruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Tono came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kim-André van der Schans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kees Mooiweer kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Wim Wilmes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kim-André van der Schans. That made the score 0-1 in the 71 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Tono in the 74th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remzi Oruz in the 84th minute of play. After 85 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Honorio Geleberto who took care of the corner kick. Kim-André van der Schans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Hermengildo Ferrando's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermengildo Ferrando helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Hermengildo Ferrando hit a great ball. The Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
