Severino Messias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilson Amorim came out and tried to block the shot, but Severino Messias slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Fabricio Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Eriksson. In the 73rd minute, Johannes Støle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. If Johannes Støle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 80 minutes into the match, Kroton F.C.'s goalkeeper Martin Eriksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipinho Amorim. With a little luck, Kroton F.C.'s Martin Eriksson got control of the ball when Felipinho Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felipinho Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Eriksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
