The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Michail Bakunin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Hanot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michail Bakunin in the 6th minute of play forced Nantwich's goalkeeper Enrique Hanot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiger were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Nantwich's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Américo Baehr took the corner. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 minutes Nantwich's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Américo Baehr who took care of the corner kick. 21 minutes into the game, Darryl Wedlock was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nantwich's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tiger the free kick. In the 21st minute, Darryl Wedlock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Josef Witlatschil managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Nantwich's 林悦傲 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michail Bakunin in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Hanot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28thth minute of the game Pentti Ojala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nantwich's Enrique Hanot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Pentti Ojala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Hanot was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Enrique Hanot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michail Bakunin in the 33rd minute of the match. Enrique Hanot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michail Bakunin, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. André Fevang kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to Tiger getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Folko Rebe hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Nantwich's Miguel Penha tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. James Warnett hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Estebe in the 70th minute of play forced Tiger's goalkeeper Josef Witlatschil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pentti Ojala hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Tiger made a substitution. Iwo Sawicki replaced Michail Bakunin. Tiger's Ingo Ustorf was substituted for Rudolf Speed. An unexpectedly hard shot by 林悦傲 in the 80th minute of play forced Tiger's goalkeeper Josef Witlatschil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thilo Heß scored 1-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enrique Hanot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Enrique Hanot made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Pentti Ojala sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Enrique Hanot successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Frazer Fordham hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes Nantwich got a freekick which was hit by Örjan Berggren. Enrique Hanot acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Américo Baehr. Iwo Sawicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Hanot having to interfere. The Tiger players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Nantwich from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
