Symba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Witalis Brysz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goal looked a bit too open when Khaled Chérif came free, but Moisés Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anis Achour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeng Xu Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 36 minutes, Witalis Brysz made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Symba's Anis Achour tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Witalis Brysz in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anis Achour saved Symba from getting behind. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Symba's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cleiton Carioca was slow to take the kick. During this time Poetass FC's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Kalle Billberg drilling the ball in to score 1-4 behind Symba's goalkeeper. 47 minutes into the match, Kalle Billberg notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Symba's Anis Achour. Anis Achour was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Symba's Sílvio Veiga was substituted for Khaled Chérif. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

Poetass FC's Váldson Miranda was substituted for Cleiton Carioca. Witalis Brysz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anis Achour came out and tried to block the shot, but Witalis Brysz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 71st minute. Anis Achour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Brysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Symba's Anis Achour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witalis Brysz in the 77th minute of play. Anis Achour made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kalle Billberg in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Poetass FC's Jon-Egil Schjelderup ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anis Achour. Anis Achour yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeng Xu Yuan got free with Anis Achour in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Symba's Anis Achour proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Symba from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Symba's Anis Achour got control of the ball when Kalle Billberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moisés Arruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gus Wootton went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-7 was the resulting score. In the 96th match minute, Symba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhammad Bejaoui to maneuver through the defense.
