Marcin Cebula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grant Blacknell having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Camron Rhodes. After a rather tough play, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Jonathan Willetts got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Sebastien Clifford's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ariel Leguizamón read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. With a little luck, Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell got control of the ball when Ulysses Madureira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Grant Blacknell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Rambo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute.
