In the 14th minute, Jon-Egil Schjelderup left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poetass FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Drew Knight took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalle Billberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bart Easton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Arruda having to interfere. In the 28th minute Kalle Billberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drew Knight saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Poetass FC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Poetass FC's Witalis Brysz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cássio Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witalis Brysz in the 36th minute of play forced Real Chelsea's goalkeeper Drew Knight to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Real Chelsea's Michael Turk got a free kick in the 40th minute. When Witalis Brysz came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Poetass FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witalis Brysz couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Gus Weir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Witalis Brysz made a kick off. When Dustin Schellander came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Real Chelsea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dustin Schellander couldn't finish the play. Poetass FC's Moisés Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Easton in the 61st minute of play. Gus Weir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Arruda having to interfere. Poetass FC made a substitution. Poetass FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
