Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Durval Luz kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Slovakia booed when Clube Atlético Luziense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eurico Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metod Mlynar in the 15th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Luziense's goalkeeper Geraldo de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience held their breath when Pavol Koleno in the 19th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Geraldo de Sena's left hand side. Oliver Holub recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geraldo de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metod Mlynar in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Metod Mlynar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Geraldo de Sena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oliver Holub struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Geraldo de Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slovakia. Henrich Slany made an important save on a dangerous shot by Durval Luz in the 31st minute. In the 36th minute, Metod Mlynar made a precise shot to the right of Geraldo de Sena. Clube Atlético Luziense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Clube Atlético Luziense's attentive Durval Luz managed to snatch the ball when Daniel Suchy made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. Metod Mlynar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Geraldo de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Metod Mlynar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Slovakia were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Slovakia's Daniel Suchy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geraldo de Sena. That made the score 0-3 after 53 minutes of play. 58 minutes into the game, Daniel Suchy threw the ball into play from the sideline. Clube Atlético Luziense's Luís Fernando de Moraes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Geraldo de Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Metod Mlynar in the 64th minute. Clube Atlético Luziense's Durval Luz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Daniel Suchy, made in the 67th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá da Mata came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clube Atlético Luziense's Geraldo de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Metod Mlynar in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Clube Atlético Luziense getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Eurico Massa hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eurico Massa during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Luziense's Eurico Massa got a free kick in the 74th minute. Clube Atlético Luziense's attentive Durval Luz managed to snatch the ball when Daniel Suchy made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. After 82 played minutes Clube Atlético Luziense got a freekick which was hit by Durval Luz. Clube Atlético Luziense's attentive Luís Fernando de Moraes managed to snatch the ball when Daniel Suchy made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Clube Atlético Luziense's Gerson Furlan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gerson Furlan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Clube Atlético Luziense protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gerson Furlan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Clube Atlético Luziense! Pavol Koleno walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Slovakia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
