Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! 34 minutes into the match, Léopold Fraval notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute of the match, Youri Borderie tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 39th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Tommy Kahn managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when U.S.Normande's Bengt-Rune Mellberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 42nd minute of play forced U.S.Normande's goalkeeper Christopher Barnier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes U.S.Normande's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Germany's corner Albin Holweck fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christopher Barnier quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Youri Borderie managed to get in a good position for a shot. U.S.Normande's supporters rose to their feet, but Youri Borderie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aymerick Tourrette in the 54th minute of the match. Aurélien Mussard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Léopold Fraval scored 4-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, U.S.Normande's Mathias Mulard got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With an all-out effort, Germany's Christopher Barnier threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albin Holweck, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Albin Holweck succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 64th playminute. In the 66th minute Bengt-Rune Mellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for U.S.Normande! Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurélien Mussard in the 79th minute of play. U.S.Normande were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aymerick Tourrette took the corner. U.S.Normande's Léopold Fraval was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommy Kahn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yoann Louvet, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Mathias Mulard got a throw-in 84 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aymerick Tourrette. After 86 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Rune Mellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of U.S.Normande booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Bengt-Rune Mellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. After 96 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léopold Fraval in the 98th minute of the match. U.S.Normande walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
