Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Hugo Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 4th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hugo Rodrigues. In the 17th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Rodrigues was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 25 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Rodrigues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustin Ostermann in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Meninos De Cotia's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Rodrigues came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Meninos De Cotia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hugo Rodrigues quite easily take care of the ball. In the 40th minute of the game Lars Meesters made a throw-in which Gijsbert ter Kruimer played forward. 44 minutes into the match, Meninos De Cotia's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Hugo Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 50th minute of the match Meninos De Cotia got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeremias Seco ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Meninos De Cotia's corner Jeremias Seco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faustin Ostermann made a kick off. Meninos De Cotia's attentive Mailson Dal Bello managed to snatch the ball when Kees Mooiweer made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Meninos De Cotia's Mailson Dal Bello got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Meninos De Cotia booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijn Doctor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Meninos De Cotia's goalkeeper Hugo Rodrigues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Hugo Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. In the 73rd minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Rodrigues was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 77 played minutes Meninos De Cotia got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Donato. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Meninos De Cotia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Meninos De Cotia's goalie and right to David Eikelkamp. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Meninos De Cotia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Faustin Ostermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored 0-4 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Rodrigues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 96 minutes into the match, Meninos De Cotia's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Hugo Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Meninos De Cotia.
