With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zbigniew Zatorski in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. Caetano Moreira hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 8 played minutes, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Mauro Quirino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wilson Amorim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- reached it. Rodolfo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Mauro Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Barreto scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Davut Altınpınar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Davut Altınpınar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 21st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Felipe Barreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davut Altınpınar was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Rodolfo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Zbigniew Zatorski succeeded in the game's 29th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Wilson Amorim was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Jan Piatek capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jan Piatek really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. In the 37th match minute, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luiz Vieira to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Jan Piatek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Amorim. That made the score 4-2 in the 39 minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Arí Furtado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim. Arí Furtado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-2. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Jan Piatek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Jan Piatek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato Moura to make the kick off. Viriato Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Davut Altınpınar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Zbigniew Zatorski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Ash Duxbury was substituted for Mauro Quirino. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-3. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Daniel Pimentel hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Furtado came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Kristofer Peck notched a goal, 8-3, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
