Jim Martin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Niculae Ailenei made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Ivar Juhlin sent off a good shot on target. When Chevaliers FC's Antonio Navarro in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 19th minute Antonio Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Martin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Eket BK's zone, Chris-George Chevalier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jim Martin came out of the goal and Chris-George Chevalier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdullah Ercan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jim Martin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris-George Chevalier in the 24th minute of play forced Eket BK's goalkeeper Jim Martin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eket BK's Jim Martin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Chevalier in the 27th minute of play. If Antonio Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute Chris-George Chevalier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Martin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Cristinel Pandele notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Eket BK's Jim Martin. Jim Martin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Blomquist in the 38th minute of play forced Chevaliers FC's goalkeeper Niculae Ailenei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Chevaliers FC's Niculae Ailenei got control of the ball when Ivar Juhlin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chris-George Chevalier might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jim Martin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chris-George Chevalier ran back to his position shaking his head.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pelle Blomquist to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Antonio Navarro sped through Eket BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jim Martin. Jim Martin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristinel Pandele's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Cristinel Pandele put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jim Martin. Antonio Navarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Chevaliers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Juhlin came free, but Niculae Ailenei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pelle Blomquist kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes in the game, Chris-George Chevalier fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jim Martin having to interfere. Chevaliers FC's Niculae Ailenei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Juhlin in the 74th minute of play. Chevaliers FC's Antonio Navarro came free and shot a quick shot against goal 77 minutes in the game, fortunately Jim Martin had problems saving as it came toward the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris-George Chevalier in the 78th minute of play forced Eket BK's goalkeeper Jim Martin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jim Martin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristinel Pandele, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Eket BK's Jim Martin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Eket BK from getting a goal against them. Cristinel Pandele's late challenge caught a Eket BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristinel Pandele helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chevaliers FC's Cristinel Pandele got a free kick in the 81st minute. Jim Martin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Navarro's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Pelle Blomquist scored 1-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niculae Ailenei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Navarro in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jim Martin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Abdullah Ercan advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-4 in the 91st minute. Jim Martin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris-George Chevalier, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Chevaliers FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
