Avenue of glory
Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) England's Kyle Cox started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Green Horses's zone, Kyle Cox stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Periklis Zorbadelos came out of the goal and Kyle Cox tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, England's Cooper Thompson got a free kick in the 6th minute. Khalid Kennedy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaggelos Keratakis in the 9th minute. Gerasimos Iakovatos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 11th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gerasimos Iakovatos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Khalid Kennedy made a huge save. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Notis Bartzokas, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 22 played minutes Green Horses got a freekick which was hit by Babbis Markatos. Micah Macdonald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Periklis Zorbadelos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Dimitris Kolofotias hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Periklis Zorbadelos came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by England's Xavier Gallagher. But to his dismay, Xavier Gallagher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of England booed when Green Horses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Valadão didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 36 minutes on the clock, Iason Dimitratos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Green Horses fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! In the 45th match minute, Green Horses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Valadão to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, England's Micah Macdonald tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dimitris Kolofotias hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half England were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Notis Bartzokas made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Micah Macdonald during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Micah Macdonald. In the 60th minute of the match Dimitris Kolofotias sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Khalid Kennedy skillfully saved the ball. Green Horses's Periklis Zorbadelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Gallagher in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Issac Dawson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The England fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 70 minutes into the match, Issac Dawson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Periklis Zorbadelos, 0-5. A collision led to Green Horses getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Paris Mourlos hit a great ball. With a little luck, Green Horses's Periklis Zorbadelos got control of the ball when Issac Dawson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute, Notis Bartzokas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Micah Macdonald had several of the Green Horses's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 81 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Periklis Zorbadelos as he didn't even see the shot coming. The supporters of England booed when Green Horses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paris Mourlos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Periklis Zorbadelos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Issac Dawson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 90 minute of play. Seth Young hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute, Notis Bartzokas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Green Horses fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. When the final whistle sounded England left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Green Horses.
