But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. Soner Kurtaran kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lokman Taşkan having to interfere. After 44 minutes, Chris Mergenthaler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the AdanaDemirSpor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 44th minute. Rahman Akçam came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tommy Kahn could save by the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Lokman Taşkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. With a little luck, AdanaDemirSpor's Lokman Taşkan got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by AdanaDemirSpor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. Lokman Taşkan made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. AdanaDemirSpor were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Germany for a fine match.
