Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Slovakia's Metod Mlynar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Slovakia's Metod Mlynar got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mano Dios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Metod Mlynar in the 6th minute of the match. Pavol Koleno charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pavol Koleno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Pavol Koleno got a free kick in the 12th minute. Slovakia's Henrich Slany proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Slovakia from getting a goal against them. Generoso Goren struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Henrich Slany didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA. Henrich Slany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Goren in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Cleto Inko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Metod Mlynar hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Americo Boniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Bikendi was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Kornel Jahoda got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 59 minutes into the match, DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA's goalkeeper Mano Dios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Metod Mlynar. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slovakia's supporters rose to their feet, but Metod Mlynar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mano Dios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA's Mano Dios proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Metod Mlynar got free with Mano Dios in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vavrinec Koleno during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vavrinec Koleno kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Generoso Goren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrich Slany was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Bikendi in the 82nd minute of play. DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Slovakia for a fine match.
