Albano Bertol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arneil Trossero having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Newell´s's Ioan Agachi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arneil Trossero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner went over the outstretched arms of I Rossoneri's goalie and right to Indiana Turban. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. I Rossoneri's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Arneil Trossero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ioan Agachi went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tim Östlund during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes I Rossoneri got a freekick which was hit by Tim Östlund. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Wallengren in the 30th minute of play forced I Rossoneri's goalkeeper Arneil Trossero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, I Rossoneri's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Wallengren came free, but Arneil Trossero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to I Rossoneri getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Rutger Backlund hit a great ball. In the 38th match minute, I Rossoneri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Östlund to maneuver through the defense. Arneil Trossero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Wallengren in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, I Rossoneri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Östlund to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Mattias Wallengren made a precise shot to the right of Arneil Trossero. I Rossoneri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After the first half Newell´s were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cristobal Estavan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Linus Skoglund in the 52nd minute of the match. With a little luck, I Rossoneri's Arneil Trossero got control of the ball when Mattias Wallengren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arneil Trossero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mattias Wallengren in the 69th minute. Ioan Agachi took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arneil Trossero. Arneil Trossero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Ioan Agachi took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Arneil Trossero to make any attempt to save it. If Ioan Agachi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. I Rossoneri's Arneil Trossero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save I Rossoneri from getting a goal against them. Mattias Wallengren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Arneil Trossero made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ioan Agachi during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Newell´s's Ioan Agachi got a free kick in the 79th minute. The Newell´s fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Newell´s's Ioan Agachi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 91 played minutes Newell´s got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Wallengren. 93 minutes into the match, Newell´s's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Lindholm came free, but Cristobal Estavan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ioan Agachi in the 96th minute of play forced I Rossoneri's goalkeeper Arneil Trossero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The I Rossoneri fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Newell´s were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
