The wind increased when Fred Ferreira made the kick off in the second half. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüseyin Turan Özerol in the 64th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Corumbaense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Corumbaense F.C. made a substitution. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Germany had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
