Atlético-PR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arsenio Erico in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 6th minute. Arsenio Erico took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Oswaldo Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arsenio Erico. A collision led to Atlético-PR getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Eugênio Azevedo hit a great ball. Atlético-PR's Oswaldo Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Atlético-PR getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Márcio Cruz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Atlético-PR's Eugênio Azevedo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arsenio Erico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dráuzio Barral in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Márcio Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Márcio Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedrinho Hoffmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. In the 36th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sachs to maneuver through the defense. The Atlético-PR fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Atlético-PR's Arsenio Erico looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsenio Erico got free with Tommy Kahn in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Arsenio Erico sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arsenio Erico's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Arsenio Erico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atlético-PR's Yang Ke Xun was substituted for Arsenio Erico. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Hoffmann in the 80th minute of play. When Atlético-PR's Yang Ke Xun in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. After 84 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Hoffmann in the 87th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes of play, Atlético-PR's Yang Ke Xun made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yang Ke Xun in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
