Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zaccheo Andolina kicked off to start the match. Ciriaco Urdaspal hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 8th match minute, ACF Fiorentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Anisie to maneuver through the defense. Zaccheo Andolina took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudinei Velloso. Claudinei Velloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, one of ACF Fiorentina:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Italy. Sigfrido Auletta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Claudinei Velloso. 0-2. 19 minutes into the game, Zaccheo Andolina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Claudinei Velloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the match, ACF Fiorentina's goal looked a bit too open when Siricio Liotta came free, but Claudinei Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Cabezon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute ACF Fiorentina were awarded a corner. Ciriaco Urdaspal went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led ACF Fiorentina's Ciriaco Urdaspal to fire away a dangerous shot which Flavio Vittori despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 33rd minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Cutri made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ACF Fiorentina's Hu Xi. 37 minutes into the match, ACF Fiorentina's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Claudinei Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ACF Fiorentina's Claudinei Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 38th minute of play. ACF Fiorentina's Maximino Cabezon got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florentino Adrio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After 48 played minutes Sigfrido Auletta shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for ACF Fiorentina's Claudinei Velloso to catch but Sigfrido Auletta was lucky. It became 0-4 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximino Cabezon to make the kick off. Italy's Eliseo Cutri quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hu Xi, made in the 59th minute of the game. Claudinei Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 65th minute of play. Claudinei Velloso was a little too slow when Siricio Liotta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-5. After a rather tough play, ACF Fiorentina's Hildeberto Carvalho got a free kick in the 71st minute. ACF Fiorentina's Federico Teofilio was substituted for Saturnino Michael. ACF Fiorentina made a substitution. Hernán Leandro replaced Maximino Cabezon. After a rather tough play, ACF Fiorentina's Hildeberto Carvalho got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Eliseo Cutri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 78th minute of play forced ACF Fiorentina's goalkeeper Claudinei Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinei Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Claudinei Velloso made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Porziano Marchitelli sent off a good shot on target. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. In the 90th minute, Eliseo Cutri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute Adriano Curto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernán Leandro in the 98th minute of the match. The ACF Fiorentina fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Italy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
