The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Budi Sudarsono was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sentinel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC COSA NOSTRA the free kick. Sentinel's Yaya Kunaefi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ugnius Baltaragis in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidijus Andrišiūnas in the 8th minute of play forced Sentinel's goalkeeper Yaya Kunaefi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17thth minute of the game Sapardi Djokodamono who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC COSA NOSTRA's Rytis Paškevičius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rahmat Aswatama could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Rytis Paškevičius made a huge save. Rahmat Aswatama received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rytis Paškevičius came out and tried to block the shot, but Rahmat Aswatama slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. FC COSA NOSTRA's Rytis Paškevičius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save FC COSA NOSTRA from getting a goal against them. A collision led to FC COSA NOSTRA getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Kastytis Švambaris hit a great ball. With a little luck, FC COSA NOSTRA's Rytis Paškevičius got control of the ball when Ramadan Sananta tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 39 played minutes Sentinel got a freekick which was hit by Feng Han Zheng. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Liudvikas Zaleckas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC COSA NOSTRA's supporters rose to their feet, but Liudvikas Zaleckas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yaya Kunaefi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yaya Kunaefi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Česnauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sapardi Djokodamono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rytis Paškevičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ugnius Baltaragis made a kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Klement Niemojewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sentinel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC COSA NOSTRA the free kick. The audience was convinced that Gintautas Dundulis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yaya Kunaefi was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. FC COSA NOSTRA's Rytis Paškevičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Budi Sudarsono in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Budi Sudarsono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rytis Paškevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC COSA NOSTRA booed when Sentinel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romelu Van Dijk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute Rahmat Aswatama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rytis Paškevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yaya Kunaefi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominique Wilkins in the 70th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Dominique Wilkins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC COSA NOSTRA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gintautas Dundulis in the 76th minute of play forced Sentinel's goalkeeper Yaya Kunaefi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Alvydas Tamašauskis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rytis Paškevičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feng Han Zheng in the 78th minute of play. Yaya Kunaefi made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Gintautas Dundulis sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Yaya Kunaefi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Sentinel's Yaya Kunaefi got control of the ball when Gintautas Dundulis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rytis Paškevičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Budi Sudarsono in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Sentinel's goal looked a bit too open when Ugnius Baltaragis came free, but Yaya Kunaefi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ovidijus Andrišiūnas fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC COSA NOSTRA's protests and gave Ovidijus Andrišiūnas a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes FC COSA NOSTRA got a freekick which was hit by Ovidijus Andrišiūnas.
The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sentinel fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC COSA NOSTRA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
