Spectators: 8000 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zhang Song Fan started the match with the kick off. Grzegorz Siekierski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Dem, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Cromvelde's zone, Zhang Song Fan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kim Hendrickx came out of the goal and Zhang Song Fan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Dem scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grzegorz Siekierski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute Romarinho Riquelme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kim Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of AKS Kozienice booed when KFC Cromvelde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Dem didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romarinho Riquelme in the 41st minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Kim Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AKS Kozienice were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after KFC Cromvelde's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Padro Sevilla took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Padro Sevilla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kim Hendrickx quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 46 minutes, Francis Van Geel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Cromvelde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francis Van Geel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half KFC Cromvelde were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Dem made a kick off. KFC Cromvelde's Kim Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romarinho Riquelme in the 52nd minute of play. Zhang Song Fan took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kim Hendrickx. Kim Hendrickx dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Grzegorz Siekierski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willem-Alexander Vercauteren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhang Song Fan in the 59th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Kim Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Zhang Song Fan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Kim Hendrickx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kim Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhang Song Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th match minute, AKS Kozienice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kryspin Kalinowski to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to AKS Kozienice getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Kryspin Kalinowski hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Romarinho Riquelme came free, but Kim Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of KFC Cromvelde booed when AKS Kozienice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kryspin Kalinowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Dem in the 78th minute of play forced AKS Kozienice's goalkeeper Grzegorz Siekierski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Kim Hendrickx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd match minute, AKS Kozienice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislaw Szarmach to maneuver through the defense. Kryspin Kalinowski kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Ali Dem notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of AKS Kozienice's Grzegorz Siekierski. Grzegorz Siekierski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The KFC Cromvelde supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KFC Cromvelde would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
