Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Inautzi in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Not Today's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Güner Uludoğan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Not Today's Leo Inautzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Inautzi in the 21st minute of play. Leo Inautzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnout Reekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leo Inautzi ran back to his position shaking his head. 28 minutes into the match, Leo Inautzi notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 31 minutes into the match, Not Today's Leo Inautzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 33 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Wim Wilmes. Hugo Rami kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Not Today's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Güner Uludoğan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 40th minute of play forced Not Today's goalkeeper Güner Uludoğan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leo Inautzi was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Kees Mooiweer got a free kick in the 50th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 55th minute of play forced Not Today's goalkeeper Güner Uludoğan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Reix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wasyl Fetor's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Wasyl Fetor put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wasyl Fetor, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 90th minute of play forced Not Today's goalkeeper Güner Uludoğan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
