The audience was convinced that Rein Visscher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 23rd minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chris Mergenthaler charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 37th minute, Rein Visscher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. In the 46th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janik Vogt to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio Giacchetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Rein Visscher made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Fighting Burning Hearts's Rein Visscher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 60th minute Fighting Burning Hearts were awarded a corner. Demetrio Giacchetti went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Demetrio Giacchetti almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. 66 minutes into the game, Fighting Burning Hearts's Rein Visscher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rein Visscher, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rein Visscher in the 74th minute of play. Fighting Burning Hearts's Nons Crossa was substituted for Demetrio Giacchetti. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nons Crossa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fighting Burning Hearts walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
