Alexandre Brasil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Unai Calatayud's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Vítor Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Marcos Odín hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Leonides Sánchez put in a rough tackle. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horacio Sayveon in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Colon Manrique saved Atlético Ourense from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Herberto Palacios made the kick off in the second half. Vinicio Balasi made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Atlético Ourense's Rogelio Verdaguer. Luizão do Nascimento made in the 54th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Vito Simão immediately put the ball in play. In the 57th minute Vítor Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Colon Manrique saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colon Manrique showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Viana in the 58th minute of the match. Horacio Sayveon kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Atlético Ourense's Tartalo Rajoi was substituted for Unai Calatayud. In the 71st match minute, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorginho Mello to maneuver through the defense. Colon Manrique showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Sayveon, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute.
