Plan B's Ismael Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Måns Zelmerlöw stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Måns Zelmerlöw tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Denmark booed when Plan B was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiph Ekström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Måns Zelmerlöw left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Plan B fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Mikkel Wulff struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Ismael Negri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. 22 minutes into the match, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ismael Negri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Denmark's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Måns Zelmerlöw scored to the left of an out of position Keld Paulsen, making the score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Plan B's Måns Zelmerlöw got a free kick in the 40th minute. Karl-Michael Vennerström's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Michael Vennerström helped the player get up and apologised. 41 minutes into the game, one of Plan B:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Aan Aae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Negri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Billy Persson fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plan B's protests and gave Billy Persson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Plan B getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Billy Persson hit a great ball. When Karl-Michael Vennerström was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. Ismael Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 74th minute of the match. After 75 minutes Plan B's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chris Nygaard who took care of the corner kick. Denmark's Chris Nygaard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael Negri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Denmark were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Plan B's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Chris Nygaard took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Chris Nygaard got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ismael Negri quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Olav Graversens short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Ismael Negri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ismael Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Plan B's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Negri came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Plan B's goalkeeper Ismael Negri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Plan B players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
