Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Cosmos Soccer Club's Ivan Ţopescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 姜永洲 in the 3rd minute of play. Dan Gheară stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kyle Cox's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Kyle Cox's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dan Gheară read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Khalid Kennedy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iago Aspas in the 10th minute. After 11 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Willis. In the 12th minute of the match Sid Kline shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Khalid Kennedy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dan Gheară made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 15th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cooper Thompson during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cooper Thompson hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Iago Aspas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Khalid Kennedy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Micah Macdonald took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dan Gheară. Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Cosmos Soccer Club defense, Kyle Cox kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dan Gheară. The Cosmos Soccer Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Gheară should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Kyle Cox's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dan Gheară was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Cosmos Soccer Club's Dan Gheară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Cox in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Sid Kline. In the 60th minute Issac Dawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Gheară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Micah Macdonald got free with Dan Gheară in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kyle Cox was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. England's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by 姜永洲 in the 69th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seth Young was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of England:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cosmos Soccer Club:s goal. When Iago Aspas came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Cosmos Soccer Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iago Aspas couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Cosmos Soccer Club's Grant McKay got a free kick in the 80th minute. After 81 played minutes, England's Xavier Gallagher shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dan Gheară came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in England reached it. In the 82nd minute, Micah Macdonald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Grant McKay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Micah Macdonald struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Dan Gheară didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for England. In the 92nd minute, Kyle Cox got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
