Maximino Acevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihály Fülep, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristides Barea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Bondi in the 4th minute of the match. Fazendinha's Maximino Acevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihály Fülep in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute Fazendinha were awarded a corner. Alf Håning went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Alf Håning got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aristides Barea quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão de Barros in the 12th minute of play forced O rey Iván's goalkeeper Aristides Barea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Guilherme Melo struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Aristides Barea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fazendinha. Maximino Acevedo made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Emiliano Garaona sent off a good shot on target. If Mihály Fülep had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 21st minute Cristóvão de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Barea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute Fazendinha were awarded a corner. Alf Håning went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Fazendinha's corner Alf Håning fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aristides Barea quite easily take care of the ball. O rey Iván were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Fazendinha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Augusto Fliz took the corner. In the 31st minute, Venancio Reynardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Bondi in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aristides Barea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute Fazendinha were awarded a corner. Alf Håning went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Fazendinha's corner Alf Håning fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aristides Barea quite easily take care of the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Fazendinha's Válbson Arce nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aristides Barea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Maximino Acevedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mihály Fülep showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 40 minute of play. Aristides Barea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrézinho Macedo in the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, O rey Iván was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Aznar to maneuver through the defense. After 48 played minutes, Fazendinha's Alf Håning shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aristides Barea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fazendinha reached it. The O rey Iván players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fazendinha were winning 1-2.
When Mihály Fülep came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the O rey Iván fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihály Fülep couldn't finish the play. Mihály Fülep blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximino Acevedo having to make a save. Maximino Acevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihály Fülep, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Maximino Acevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihály Fülep, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. O rey Iván made a substitution. Pastor Martxot replaced Dionisio Orland. O rey Iván's Ivan Lizar was substituted for Mihály Fülep. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fazendinha's goalkeeper Maximino Acevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. At last the ball reached Ivan Lizar at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Fazendinha. 2-2. Válbson Arce made a great header on Fazendinha's corner, it was just that O rey Iván's Aristides Barea managed to reach the ball for a save. 74 minutes into the match, Fazendinha's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Lizar came free, but Maximino Acevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes O rey Iván got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Ponciano. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Arturo Bondi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fazendinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Bondi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Barea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Guilherme Melo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristides Barea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Gláuber Camargo's late challenge caught a O rey Iván's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gláuber Camargo helped the player get up and apologised. 95 minutes into the match, Fazendinha's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Fliz came free, but Maximino Acevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Lizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Acevedo having to interfere. Fazendinha's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
