Alejandro Martxelin scored 2-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Jaizki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Calvet in the 16th minute of play forced Capo de Provincia's goalkeeper Héctor Barra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Jaizki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Martxelin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Mega's Federico Jaizki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Martxelin in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Capo de Provincia booed when Los Mega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Abeitia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Capo de Provincia's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Cortez came free, but Héctor Barra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Eder Garland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capo de Provincia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Mega the free kick. In the 46th minute, Eder Garland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Héctor Barra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maksymilian Kisielka, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentin Cortez to make the kick off. Capo de Provincia's David Villa was substituted for Christiano Cabañas. In the 63rd minute of the match Capo de Provincia got a corner. Los Mega's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. César Pretot ran over to the corner to take the kick. Capo de Provincia's César Pretot was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Federico Jaizki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Héctor Barra was a little too slow when Abel Calvet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 2-1. Héctor Barra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maksymilian Kisielka in the 76th minute. Federico Jaizki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Jiménez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Héctor Barra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 87th match minute, Capo de Provincia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tao Han to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Los Mega's Abel Calvet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Héctor Barra. Héctor Barra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Los Mega's Federico Jaizki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Jiménez in the 93rd minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
