The audience thought a goal was coming when Dilmen Akadlı got free with Şenol Güneş in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute, Sixten Bokelund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by LOS MENTI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lech Glozor was slow to take the kick. During this time Sparta LKS's players had a chance to rest. 23 minutes into the game, Herbert Prokowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sparta LKS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LOS MENTI the free kick. The supporters of LOS MENTI booed when Sparta LKS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Prokowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marko Vooro hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sparta LKS's goalkeeper Grzegorz Olszewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Şenol Güneş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kacper Hazard's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Lech Glozor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When David Gagriel came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the LOS MENTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Gagriel couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the match, LOS MENTI's goalkeeper Şenol Güneş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dilmen Akadlı.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Dilmen Akadlı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sparta LKS's supporters rose to their feet, but Dilmen Akadlı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şenol Güneş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Şenol Güneş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kacper Hazard, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Gwidon Harasimowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, LOS MENTI's David Gagriel tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 61 played minutes LOS MENTI got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Zaremba. When Hermengildo Soin fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOS MENTI's protests and gave Hermengildo Soin a yellow card for diving instead. LOS MENTI's Şenol Güneş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixten Bokelund in the 64th minute of play. Şenol Güneş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marko Vooro in the 66th minute of play. Şenol Güneş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kacper Hazard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Kacper Hazard put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Şenol Güneş. Şenol Güneş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kacper Hazard, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 76 played minutes Sparta LKS got a freekick which was hit by Gwidon Harasimowicz. With a little luck, Sparta LKS's Grzegorz Olszewski got control of the ball when 汪常然 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Şenol Güneş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kacper Hazard in the 79th minute of the match. Şenol Güneş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kacper Hazard's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, LOS MENTI's goal looked a bit too open when Radowit Osielski came free, but Şenol Güneş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sparta LKS getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Bartlomiej Gerlach hit a great ball. Sparta LKS's Barnaba Czerniejewski was substituted for Tymoteusz Buczko. The supporters of LOS MENTI booed when Sparta LKS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartlomiej Gerlach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sparta LKS's Grzegorz Olszewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Sparta LKS from getting a goal against them. Dilmen Akadlı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Şenol Güneş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the LOS MENTI defense, Radowit Osielski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şenol Güneş. The LOS MENTI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şenol Güneş should have stopped the shot. Sparta LKS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
