Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Graciano Flores took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the game, André Castilho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Campus Douro Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grimório the free kick. André Castilho kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Grimório's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sérgio Maciel in the 6th minute. The corner led Grimório's Sérgio Maciel to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlos Coelho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 11th minute Eduardo Beltrami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Juss Vagula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Beltrami, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Campus Douro Academy's André Castilho in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grimório's goalie prevented a goal. Kristofer Normann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graciano Flores in the 32nd minute of play. Campus Douro Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sálvio Baldaia in the 34th minute. The corner ended in Sálvio Baldaia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Grimório's Kristofer Normann did a great save. In the 35th minute, Benedito Figueiras reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kristofer Normann. The goal made the score 1-0. If Juss Vagula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Octávio Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Beltrami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Campus Douro Academy's Benedito Figueiras ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kristofer Normann. Kristofer Normann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Carlos Coelho was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Eduardo Beltrami capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eduardo Beltrami really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Carlos Coelho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Graciano Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Grimório's Eduardo Beltrami slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlos Coelho. That made the score 2-2 after 73 minutes of play. Urmet Sale made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Campus Douro Academy's Idalécio Tavares. 83 minutes into the match, Benedito Figueiras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristofer Normann. Grimório's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedito Figueiras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Campus Douro Academy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Grimório had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
