The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Ochoa in the 3rd minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper Amílton Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Poetass FC's Amílton Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Ochoa in the 3rd minute of play. Amílton Paraíba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Gustavo-Hernán Egoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Jonas Aguiar in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Rauno Rank. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Poetass FC's goalkeeper Amílton Paraíba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12th minute of the match Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka got a corner. Poetass FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aaron Jokin ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Poetass FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jorge Meira hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Pedro Ochoa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amílton Paraíba. The goal made the score 2-0. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amílton Paraíba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Gustavo-Hernán Egoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Amílton Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 31st minute of the match. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Amílton Paraíba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Gustavo-Hernán Egoi took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Amílton Paraíba to make any attempt to save it. After 41 played minutes Poetass FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Meira. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Amílton Paraíba could save by the left post. After having played for 45 minutes, Gustavo-Hernán Egoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo-Hernán Egoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Kepa Arrizabalaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sid Gol in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sid Gol made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka were awarded a corner. Aaron Jokin went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 54th minute, Gustavo-Hernán Egoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes in the game Jonas Aguiar did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sandrinho Messias. After a rather tough play, Poetass FC's Jonas Aguiar got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Jonas Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Åberg in the 67th minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper Amílton Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amílton Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Åberg in the 68th minute of play. Kepa Arrizabalaga made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Frederico Palmeira sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Palmeira in the 70th minute of play forced Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amílton Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Åberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt-Arne Åberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amílton Paraíba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bengt-Arne Åberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Poetass FC's Amílton Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Arne Åberg in the 80th minute of play. Bengt-Arne Åberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Segundo Hanot got a free kick in the 87th minute. Amílton Paraíba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt-Arne Åberg went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Ke Xun got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Bengt-Arne Åberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amílton Paraíba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
