After 2 played minutes LauerArmy got a freekick which was hit by Tomé Marinho. In the 6th minute, Patricio Lloret ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mazinho Dionísio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to GOMEZ F.C. getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Cafu Santamaria hit a great ball. In the 16th minute of the match Nilmar Barbosa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paolo Arripe skillfully saved the ball. Paolo Arripe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Luiz de Moraes went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Mazinho Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Lloret in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Santiago-Tomas Gentiletti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Mazinho Dionísio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute João Keane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazinho Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, João Keane cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Mazinho Dionísio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the game, Pedro Luiz de Moraes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paolo Arripe. Pedro Luiz de Moraes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. The LauerArmy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GOMEZ F.C. were winning 2-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Luiz de Moraes was the one to do the kick off. Paolo Arripe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomé Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the game, João Keane recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mazinho Dionísio. João Keane showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Mazinho Dionísio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Keane in the 58th minute of play. Patricio Lloret struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Mazinho Dionísio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GOMEZ F.C.. In the 66thth minute of the game João Keane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LauerArmy's Mazinho Dionísio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Luiz de Moraes in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paolo Arripe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomé Marinho scored 3-4 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paolo Arripe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. João Keane hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. João Keane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazinho Dionísio having to interfere. In the 77th minute Tomé Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Arripe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Lloret got free with Mazinho Dionísio in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Santiago-Tomas Gentiletti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mazinho Dionísio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. Paolo Arripe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armandinho Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Somellera struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Mazinho Dionísio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GOMEZ F.C..
