The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Balazs Lajos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ralph Roeles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Hungary fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Hungary's Major Barna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 18 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Bakos Endre. Otto Schiphouwer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Basarab Alexandru got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Ralph Roeles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Roeles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ralph Roeles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hegedus Henrik in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 31st minute of play forced Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Ralph Roeles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 38th minute of play forced Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Ralph Roeles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goal looked a bit too open when Balazs Lajos came free, but Ralph Roeles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Bengt Petersson struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Julias Rascals Apeldoorn. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Julias Rascals Apeldoorn from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Julias Rascals Apeldoorn getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Serge Frankena hit a great ball. A hard shot 63 in the game by Antal Valentin from a close distance when the talented Ralph Roeles managed to make a qualified save. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's players were relieved. 65 minutes into the match, Jan de Vlieger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan de Vlieger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When Balazs Lajos came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balazs Lajos couldn't finish the play. Ralph Roeles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Ralph Roeles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Ralph Roeles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 85th minute of play. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bengt Petersson kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Bengt Petersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Hungary's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hungary may have spent more time on the ball, but Julias Rascals Apeldoorn were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
