The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Lance Kuch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. Alex Dijoux hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Clark Kent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balazs Lajos in the 10th minute of play. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Dijoux's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. With his leg Fodor Daniel managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Zorros del Desierto's Alex Dijoux fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alex Dijoux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, Takacs Tibor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clark Kent. Zorros del Desierto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Takacs Tibor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Hungary's Balazs Lajos pulled a muscle in his leg after 42 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar Sampaio during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hungary's Balazs Norbert was substituted for Balazs Lajos. In the 43rd minute, Cesar Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Alex Dijoux. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Toninho Vander replaced Dalmo Ferreira. Dalmo Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

55 minutes into the game, Major Barna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hungary's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zorros del Desierto the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Dijoux in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Major Barna scored 1-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clark Kent, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Dijoux went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Dijoux in the 73rd minute of play. Alex Dijoux hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Dijoux, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balazs Norbert got free with Clark Kent in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hungary were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
