After 6 played minutes The Team FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Fransson. In the 6th minute of the match Edward Vanderstraeten shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aníbal Lorenzi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aníbal Lorenzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 11th minute, Baykan İnanoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Aníbal Lorenzi. The Team FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shelton Flanagan in the 16th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aníbal Lorenzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Sander Dermaut got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aníbal Lorenzi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Lorenzi having to interfere. Aníbal Lorenzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, The Team FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Aníbal Lorenzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aníbal Lorenzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aníbal Lorenzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 36th minute of the match. Aníbal Lorenzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Baykan İnanoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cao Shi Yi in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Claes saved Belgium from getting behind. Cao Shi Yi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. After the first half Belgium were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Aníbal Lorenzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 51st minute. In the 55th minute, Laurens Vandamme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute The Team FC were awarded a corner. Krisztián Újfalussy went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Cao Shi Yi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Claes was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 76th minute Shelton Flanagan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, The Team FC's goalkeeper Aníbal Lorenzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Gerald Bradshaw kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Otis Short received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Casper Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Team FC's Aníbal Lorenzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 87th minute of play. Shelton Flanagan scored 1-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Claes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Team FC's Cao Shi Yi got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aníbal Lorenzi was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Edward Vanderstraeten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edward Vanderstraeten really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Belgium walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
