Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Viriato Moura took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otis Short during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, Otis Short hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute of the match Felipe Barreto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aníbal Lorenzi skillfully saved the ball. If Viriato Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Üzeyir Bozlak fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Team FC's protests and gave Üzeyir Bozlak a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes The Team FC got a freekick which was hit by Üzeyir Bozlak. In the 17th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Pimentel to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Cao Shi Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute Shelton Flanagan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cao Shi Yi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Cao Shi Yi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilson Amorim. The goal made the score 1-0. The Team FC's Aníbal Lorenzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 32nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerald Bradshaw during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aníbal Lorenzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after The Team FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Barreto took the corner. The corner ended in Felipe Barreto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Team FC's Aníbal Lorenzi did a great save. The audience was convinced that Faustino Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aníbal Lorenzi was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After 42 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Pimentel. Rodolfo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Krisztián Újfalussy might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Krisztián Újfalussy ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cao Shi Yi to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, The Team FC's Cao Shi Yi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cao Shi Yi in the 58th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aníbal Lorenzi came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Viriato Moura. But to his dismay, Viriato Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 64th minute, Viriato Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viriato Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Aníbal Lorenzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 73rd minute. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Aníbal Lorenzi threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bartolomeu Dias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shelton Flanagan in the 86th minute of play. Felipinho Amorim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aníbal Lorenzi came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipinho Amorim slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 88th minute. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cao Shi Yi, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see The Team FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
