In the 18th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Echegoyen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Eric Simion could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Fodor Daniel however easily saved by the left post. 25 minutes into the match, Eric Simion dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fodor Daniel, 1-1. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Patxi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Amador Patxi fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chute de Ouro FC's protests and gave Amador Patxi a yellow card for diving instead. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amador Patxi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Chute de Ouro FC's Tor Echegoyen. Tor Echegoyen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 88 minutes of play, Chute de Ouro FC's Ivo Simões made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 95 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Bakos Endre. Hungary were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
